AMG Golf Day - everyone wins!!

"Golf is a good walk spoiled." That was the opinion of Mark Twain. Well, 56 intrepid players who participated at the 4th annual AMG Golf Day on 24th June might take issue with Mr Twain!

Dubbed by many as the 5th Major, Ripon City Golf Club provided the perfect setting for a fantastic day of great golf, scorching weather, big laughs and a few cold beers. Competition was fierce and very close in both the team and individual competitions.

Golfer A who woke up in a taxi, unsure where he was, accusing the driver of kidnapping and running into a field to impersonating a scarcrow

Golfer B who upon arrival at his hotel & couldn't find his key decided to sleep in his car with the engine running and got found by another guest thinking he'd attempted suicide
or
Golfer C who enjoyed a rather lively night out in Harrogate with some female company and arrived back at his hotel at 7am
or
Golfer D who stayed in a Winnebago and fell out of his bunk breaking 3 ribs.......
